WSDP provides the following Skills Development Services

B-BBEE

  • Full B-BBEE consulting services to assist companies in achieving their desired level.
  • Analysis of companies current state to determine level before verification.
  • Recommendations on achieving desired level.
  • Provide advice in relation to the Skills Development elemement of the B-BBEE scorecard
  • Assist companies in maximising their B-BBEE skills spend target.
  • Conceptualise and implement CSI skills projects.
  • Source, mentor and coach Black owned SME's for ESD element.
  • Assist company to identify potential SD companies in current supply chain, provide mentoring and coaching to remain a supplier.

NB: All training provided to SME’s in ESD/SD can be claimed as spend.

SDF Services

  • Compilation and submission of Workplace Skills Plans(WSP) and Annual Training Report(ATR).
  • Appoint and chair Training Committees for companies with staff compliment of over 50.
  • Align employee profiles with the OFO Coding System for Occupational Development.
  • Monitor the implementation of your WSP and provide monthly written feedback reports.
  • Advise and source accredited training providers for implementation of training.
  • Negotiating training fees and managing the training providers.
  • Managing all administration and bookings required for training interventions.
  • Advise you on quality standards set by your SETA.
  • Act as your contact person with the relevant SETA.
  • Serve as your resource with regards to all aspects of skills development.
  • Conduct a Skills Audit in your workplace.
  • Project Manage learnerships, apprenticeships, internships and work integrated learning.
  • Compiling Applications for SETA discretionary funding and managing the project deliverables and reporting.
  • Follow up your grant disbursements with the relevant SETA.

Professional Body

  • Tracking of employees results, certificates and their individual progress on courses.
  • Registration of professionals with relevant professional body.
  • Tracking and informing employees of their professional development and identifying CPD events to assist them with keeping their points up to date.

WSP/ATR Submissions

Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) & Annual Training Reports(ATR) are compulsory for companies with over 50 employees. These reports must be submitted to the SETA they pay Skills Development levies (SDL) to.

The submission of these reports are also vital to B-BBEE, if it has not been submitted and approved by the relevant SETA, all skills spend will not be counted and the Skills Development score will automatically be reduced to zero points.
