SETA Accreditation

Getting accredited can be a tedious task, but with our expert knowledge and experience, we will make the journey less cumbersome and manage the process and relationship with the SETA.

SETA Accreditation & Compliance

Accreditation as a Training Provider with a SETA (Sector Education Training Authority) is a complex process which requires a range of policies, processes and systems to be in place. The most important requirements of accreditation are as follows:

  • Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Registered Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators
  • Course material which has been aligned to the qualification and branded with the providers logo’s
  • Health & Safety Site Compliance
  • Training Provider Accreditation
  • Provide Full SDF Services
  • WSP/ATR Submissions
  • DG Funding
  • Set Up Training Committee
  • Act as SETA Liaison
  • Conduct Skills Audits
  • Source Accredited Training Interventions/Providers
  • InterSETA Transfers

Discretionary Grants (DG’s)

What are Discretionary Grants?

SETA’s annually prepare and distribute to stakeholders, employers, education and training providers a schedule, setting out the dates for the submission of the applications for discretionary grants. Employers can apply for these grants during the application windows determined by the relevant SETA. By submitting an application, an employer is doing so with the hope of obtaining funding from their SETA to carry out various skills development programmes for their employees or unemployed candidates.
